Can my computer run Windows 11?
First, remember that you can check this yourself by looking at the system requirements. You can also download PC Health Check, the tool Windows has offered for a long time.
What are the minimum system requirements for Windows 11?
Processor: 1 GHz or faster, 64-bit processor or SoC with 2 or more cores
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Storage: 64 GB
System firmware: UEFI, Secure Boot capable
TPM: TPM 2.0
Graphics card: Compatible with DirectX 12 or later with a WDDM 2.0 driver
Display: 9 inches, 720p resolution
As you may have noticed, the processor requirements no longer include x86, the 32-bit version. Windows 11 and later require 64-bit processors, and the processor must have at least 2 cores.
